So, I might be heading to JAFAX at the end of June with a few people, it mostly depends if my boyfriend gets the days off for it.

But, I think I have my cosplay idea pretty much set. Brace yourself for two words...

Maid

Pikachu

Lawl. Yeah, I figure I still want to do Pikachu, but I don't want to use the same outfit I wore at Youmacon. I figure a maid outfit isn't too difficult to put together, let alone sew, and I'd be using a few of the same items from my previous cosplay (shoes, skirt, and possibly arm sleeves). I also want to try my hand at making cute little maid accessories, like a choker/collar, headband, and apron.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that JAFAX is a go. Otherwise, I'll carry the idea over for when Youmacon comes around.

As for updating on here, I don't really have the means to put up anything. The digital camera I have doesn't really like taking pictures often and I don't have a scanner. If I do upload anything sketch-wise, it will most likely go to scraps if the picture quality is poor.

Oh yeah, everything I had on my boyfriend's hard drive is gone. The thing is fried, so anything I had on there to upload is gone.

Update - Not going to JAFAX. Boyfriend has to work. I guess it's okay though, since it give me time to work on cosplays and not rush on them. Youmacon is for sure though. Got passes and room set-up :3

I think I'm going to try uploading a bit of food photography. We had some strawberry shortcake the other day and I made is so pretty-ish looking that I got a few shots. Maybe I'll do more baked goods in the future, but for now I'll upload the shots I've got. That will most likely be next weekend, since I want to fill the camera up first.

Also, got some flower shots from the peonies my mom brought in the other day. Man, those things really bloomed like crazy. I might get a few make-up/accessory shots with them, if I stop being lazy and put on make-up just to tinker with.

Have a few fun ideas I want to work with as well, but location for the shots is something I'm really struggling with. I need a nice looking bathroom or a room with a vanity set. I'd use my bathroom, but I dislike the yellow walls with a passion. I think I might run around outside and get pictures as well. I might find something interesting.
